Alright Gents, here is what I came up with for the new Power Rankings for the Millennium League. I split it up in 2 hitting and pitching. First the hitting part. I really wanted to use the stats and the power that a team has. When figuring out the hitting power rankings I used 6 offensive categories. Hits, Doubles, Triples, Home Runs, Runs, RBI's. In the end its just a average of all those categories divided by at bats. I didn't include Walks as with a walk there is now contact to the bat. When looking at the Power Rank number for hitting think of it as a batting average closer to the whole number of 1 the better the team hits. For example a team with a Power Rank in Hitting (PRH) of .650 is better than a team with a PRH of .600. I might changes some of the parameters if some one sees something doesn't really work, but for the most part this is how I will calculate the PRH. Without further ado here is the 1st PRH.
